I love food,
It's like an addiction,
It calls my name.
I just want more,
Never stopping,
And the end.

Since we all must eat,
my addiction is never ending,
a druggie to his addiction.
Will never go away as hard as I try!

Vance's first blog!

     I find poetry to be useful in displaying emotion but is rather hard to write and difficult to create the different poetic devices.  This is why I find poetry hard and boring.  “Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.”  Dr. Seuss. I like this quote because it is what Dr. Seuss is all about.


Where I'm From


I am from Couches,
From PS3 and Wii.
I am from the dust on the T.V.
I am from the blaze, the cedar tree.
I am from swimming and speed, 
From Leila and Turner,
and Glassford as well.
I am from destruction, 
and pain.
From anything I want to be, 
and salt on a bird.
I am from Sunday morning breakfast 
and lazy day Sunday.
I'm from London,
Glassford's, and Turner's.
I'm from pizza and subs.
From the time my Grandma 
broke her leg,
the pain and agony,
to farming and harvesting.
I am from Godrock,
my home and 
the place I grew up.
This is me.
